LEED Certified Building
WPPI Energy's recently expanded and remodeled Office and Operations Facility has been designed and built to achieve U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold-level certification.
The building features additional conference rooms and workspaces, additional employee and guest parking, a lunchroom and a fitness center to encourage employee wellness. It is expected to meet WPPI Energy’s projected space needs for the next 20 years.
By reducing waste and making more use of renewable energy, we can help keep our energy costs down, delay the need to build expensive new power plants, and protect the environment for our children and grandchildren. Building sustainably is one of many ways in which the members of WPPI Energy are demonstrating their commitment to leading by example for a better energy future.
