Community Relations
WPPI Energy assists members in demonstrating their commitment to their communities by offering programs that also help members increase name recognition, build utility image and earn customer loyalty in their local communities.
Programs include:
- Community Contributions – Each member has access to funding that allows them to make contributions to local projects and charitable events to groups and organizations whose work will ultimately benefit customers and the community.
- Economic Development Partnership - This program provides funding that helps members strengthen relationships with local economic development organizations.
- High School Scholarships - Public power and lineworker training continuing education scholarships are awarded to local high school students in member communities.
