WPPI Energy offers programs and services to help residents and businesses save energy, thereby protecting the environment, helping to keep customer bills down, and delaying the need for new, expensive power plants.
Our menu of program and service options is developed with the guidance and endorsement of member advisory groups. Members have carefully developed WPPI Energy into a resource that strengthens their local advantage and adds value for their communities.
A number of energy-saving programs and services for residential and business customers are available for Wisconsin members through Focus on Energy. Focus on Energy is Wisconsin utilities’ statewide energy efficiency and renewable energy program. Information about energy efficiency and renewable energy options for building a new home, choosing efficient lighting, making home or business improvements, and upgrading heating and cooling equipment is available. Additionally, residential customers have access to cash-back rewards on the purchase of energy-efficient equipment and products. Together with utilities, Focus on Energy works to identify and implement smart energy and renewable energy solutions that save money, boost productivity and reduce maintenance costs for larger business customers.
Residential and business customers in Michigan member communities have increased access to statewide energy-efficiency programs, though their partnership with Efficiency United – the statewide, multi-utility program for offering energy-efficiency programs and services to residents and businesses in Michigan. Efficiency United offers access to energy conservation and optimization services, including energy-efficiency programs, customer service, educational tools, and retail and contractor partnerships. Customers are also able to take advantage of rebates on new products and equipment.
A number of energy-efficiency programs and services are available for residential and business customers of Iowa member communities through their local utility. As the local resource on energy efficiency and conservation, the utility provides a host of valuable programs and services for residential customers, including energy education, information about making home improvements and upgrades, access to energy-efficiency initiatives, and more. A variety of energy management programs and services and incentive programs specifically for commercial and industrial facilities are also available, including energy evaluations, design assistance, load monitoring, technical training and more.
