Sturgeon Bay is located in northeastern Wisconsin, approximately 50 miles northeast of Green Bay. Sturgeon Bay is located directly on Green Bay and the Lake Michigan shoreline is just a few miles to the east of the community.
Sturgeon Bay was settled in 1835. The community is proud of its history and has done much to preserve and build on it. Sturgeon Bay is perfectly positioned for water activities such as fishing, boating, sailing, swimming and other water sports. Other recreational activities include golf courses, campgrounds, and miles of recreational trails.
