Waterloo is located 25 miles east of Madison on Hwy. 19 and 60 miles west of Milwaukee. Waterloo is a small city with some big industries. One of the world's best known bicycles are created and manufactured in a large factory on the edge of town.
Driving through town, a visitor may smell the tasty dill pickles or the curiously sweet aroma of brewer's malt from two companies with a long history in Waterloo. Two high-tech machine shops create custom parts and complete machines. The city's beautiful Fireman's Park features a top-notch baseball diamond and an antique carousel that provides rides for children on summer weekends.
