GD IDEA makes news, again

Sporting the license plates 'GD IDEA' and 'GAS SIPR,' WPPI's plug-in hybrid electric vehicles have become a familiar site on the roads and in local newspapers.

Now, these innovative new vehicles are also gaining notice on the World Wide Web:

• The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel published an online Green Guide featuring "bright ideas" to save money and help the environment.
  
  
• The Why Files, an online magazine founded by the National Science Foundation and published by the University of Wisconsin, recently considered the question, "Could Plug-in Hybrid Cars help the Energy Crisis?" The resulting story took an in-depth look at the science behind plug-in hybrids, including those in WPPI's fleet.
