WPPI Energy has joined in the effort to “lead by example” in the area of electric vehicle technology. Electric vehicles are an important emerging technology with great benefits for our environment and our economy.
Through our electric vehicle incentive program, WPPI Energy and our members committed themselves to maximizing fuel economy, reducing emissions that are harmful to the environment and educating the public on the need for advanced technology by purchasing hybrids vehicles, converting hybrids into plug-in vehicles or adding neighborhood electric vehicles to their local fleets.
